Caitlyn O'Carrick is Sean's mother, and Halt and Ferris' younger sister. She was the only one Halt confided in when Ferris was trying to kill him, under the explanation that his parents wouldn't have believed him if he had tried to tell them. Caitlyn died some years prior to The Kings of Clonmel.
