Samdash was a ranger in The Tournament at Gorlan who somewhat unwillingly submitted to Crowley as leader of the rebel group of rangers. Later he is the one to get the sign from Crowley and Halt that its safe in the Redmont castle and that they didn't get captured. Samdash and Crowley's groups met and joined together to end Morgarath's evil reign.
