Men-at-arms
The soldiers of the Army make up the main part of the King's fighting force. They are regular, simple men, who did not attend, or were not taken in at Battleschools. These soldiers are normally farmers, who aren't especially skilled in fighting, and are only called upon during times of war. They are armed with spears, swords, bows, and pikes according to what type of training they have had.
Archer Units
There are also soldiers who belong to special archer units, made up of an archer and a spearman, each protecting each other. When grouped together, archer units can cause deadly damage against the enemy, using tactics that protect the archers at long range, and that protects the spearmen from attack by picking off enemies as they come closer.
